The Rifle Range Road reservoir at Dubbo, NSW is a 10ML reservoir that brings the Dubbo City Councils total water storage capacity to 87ML. Our experienced team ensured significant savings, both in money and man hours, using our innovative combination of post-tensioned base slab and precast wall panels that we poured on site.

The wall structure was constructed using 48 precast wall panels (full height) and 4 stressing buttress units around the perimeter. Each wall unit was 250mm thick and 2495mm wide, weighing roughly 10.5 tonnes. The buttresses were 600mm thick and 2500mm wide and each weighed in excess of 25 tonnes.

We constructed the roof structure from aluminium columns, beams and purlins as well as aluminium roof sheeting. This solution not only provided the Dubbo City Council with a low maintenance option, but an option with a longer life span than other alternatives at 40 years.
